The Popcorn Chicken Slab made waves when it first appeared, quickly becoming a fan favorite. This massive treat features six soft, pull-apart dinner rolls filled with KFC’s signature Popcorn Chicken, topped with melted cheese sauce and tangy BBQ sauce. It’s one of the largest items ever offered on KFC’s menu, adored by fans across the country.
Whether you’re sharing it with friends or keeping it all to yourself, the return of The Slab promises a game-time feast that’s hard to beat.
“We’ve received countless requests to bring this fan favorite back, and we’re excited to announce that The Slab is available nationwide for the first time since 2022, just in time for the Footy Finals,” a KFC spokesperson said. “It’s perfect for sharing with friends or family, but it won’t be around for long.”
The Popcorn Chicken Slab will be available in KFC restaurants across Australia from Tuesday, September 3, to Monday, September 30. Customers can enjoy it as a standalone item, in a Combo for 1 with chips and a drink, or in a Combo for 2. For those feeding a larger group, The Slab Feast includes Original Recipe Chicken, Chicken Tenders, chips, and sauce on the side.
