Chick-fil-A is kicking off the week with the highly anticipated launch of its banana pudding-inspired menu items and a new spicy twist on a customer favorite sandwich.
Starting Monday, August 26, customers can enjoy the Banana Pudding Milkshake and Banana Frosted Coffee at participating locations nationwide. These limited-time offerings will be available until November 16.
The Banana Pudding Milkshake, which last appeared on Chick-fil-A’s menu 13 years ago, features a blend of Chick-fil-A’s Icedream dessert, real bananas, and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The Banana Frosted Coffee combines cold-brewed coffee, Icedream dessert, bananas, and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles.
In addition to the sweet treats, Chick-fil-A is also launching the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, which includes a chicken filet coated in honey, topped with pimento cheese and mild pickled jalapeños. Customers can choose between the original or a new spicy filet.
“When we released the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich last fall, not only did we receive overwhelmingly positive feedback, but we also saw our guests making their own unique twists by swapping the original filet for the spicy filet,” said Chick-fil-A Chef Stuart Tracy. “We are thrilled to deliver what we know our guests want more of!”
Customers can order the new menu items for pickup or delivery, but whipped cream and cherries will not be available for delivery orders due to the packaging used.
While banana pudding is not available at most Chick-fil-A locations, customers in Georgia can enjoy the classic dessert year-round at the company’s sister restaurants, including Truett’s Grill, Truett’s Chick-fil-A, the Dwarf House, and the Dwarf House in Hapeville.
