McDonald’s has launched its latest pop culture-themed Happy Meal, featuring a crossover between Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. This new collaboration, which blends the beloved characters of Hello Kitty with elements from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe, is now available for a limited time.
“In your Happy Meal today. Probably on eBay for $500 in a week,” tweeted Guillaume Huin, McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director, on Tuesday, announcing the new items on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The Happy Meal collection includes nine plush toys that combine Hello Kitty characters with iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

Yes, according to McDonald’s website, customers can purchase the Happy Meal toys individually, subject to availability.
What’s Included in A Happy Meal?
A standard Happy Meal comes with a choice of a hamburger, a 4-piece McNuggets, or a 6-piece McNuggets, along with fries, apple slices, and a kid’s drink such as milk, water, or apple juice. For this special Hello Kitty x Yu-Gi-Oh! Happy Meal, Huin noted that even the bags of apple slices have been updated to fit the theme.
