Jollibee, the Philippines’ leading fast-food chain, announced on August 14, 2024, that it will donate PHP 5 million to the National Academy of Sports (NAS). The company made the announcement on its social media platforms.
This pledge follows the recent success of the Philippine delegation at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Gymnast Carlos Yulo made history by winning two gold medals, while boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas earned bronze medals. The team’s performance marked the best Olympic showing for the Philippines to date.
In recognition of these achievements, Jollibee is focusing on supporting the future of Filipino athletics. The P5 million donation will be allocated to enhance the learning and training facilities at NAS, providing better infrastructure and equipment for student-athletes.
As a brand that proudly represents Filipino excellence, Jollibee is committed to nurturing world-class Filipino talent and helping them succeed on the global stage.
