Travelers passing through Perth Airport have a new reason to be excited, as the airport is set to host its first-ever KFC outlet. The grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, August 17, at the Dunreath Drive location, right next to McDonald’s.
Restaurant General Manager Sang Ho Im expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition, stating that delivery services will also be available, catering to both travelers and the local community.
Perth Airport’s Chief Property Officer, Dan Sweet, shared the airport’s excitement, emphasizing the positive impact the new KFC will have on the local economy. “This opening creates 49 jobs, providing a boost for locals,” Sweet said.
Sweet also highlighted the strategic development of the Airport West precinct, aiming to make it a key destination for Western Australian businesses. “We are committed to enhancing the area with great options for passengers, airport workers, and the local community,” he noted.
The new KFC store is conveniently located within walking distance of Redcliffe Station, reinforcing the airport’s vision of developing a transit-oriented town center. Sweet also reflected on the growth of the estate over the past five years, which has seen the addition of several major shopping and dining outlets, including DFO Perth, Costco Warehouse, Woolworths, Priceline, Sushi Hub, McDonald’s, and an IMO car wash.
KFC Perth Airport will operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., ensuring travelers and locals alike can satisfy their cravings throughout the day.
