Chick-fil-A is bringing back a beloved item: the banana pudding milkshake. This popular treat will return to the menu on Monday, August 26, marking its first appearance in 13 years.
The milkshake features real banana vanilla ice cream blended with vanilla wafer cookies. It is topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
In addition to the milkshake, Chick-fil-A is introducing new items that highlight banana flavor. The banana frosted coffee includes the same ingredients as the milkshake—ice cream, banana, and wafer cookies—but adds cold brew coffee. Unlike the milkshake, this drink does not come with whipped cream or a cherry, though customers can request these toppings.
Another returning item is the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich, which was a top seller in 2023. This sandwich is now offered with either original or spicy chicken. It includes honey, pimento cheese, and pickled jalapeños, served on a toasted bun.
Meanwhile, Krispy Kreme has also introduced fall favorites. On August 12, they launched the pumpkin spice cake doughnut and the pumpkin spice latte. The doughnut is available in both old-fashioned and glazed styles, sold individually or in packs at bakery locations and select grocery stores. The lattes are offered hot, iced, or frozen, all topped with whipped cream.
Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, Dave Skena, expressed enthusiasm for the season’s flavors. “It’s August and we’re all ready for pumpkin spice, somehow,” he said. “Our fans want their Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Latte right now, and we’re here for it. Stay tuned, as we have more seasonal treats coming soon.”
