Harwich – A new Burger King restaurant is set to open in Parkeston, Freshfields Road, bringing 23 new jobs to the Harwich area. This will be the first Burger King location in Harwich.
Founded in 1954, Burger King has grown to over 19,000 locations in more than 100 countries worldwide. While the opening date for the new Harwich restaurant has not been announced, the company is currently hiring for two assistant manager positions.
Successful candidates for these roles will benefit from various perks, including flexible working hours, up to 28 days of annual leave, and a 70% discount on food and drink when dining with friends and family.
Jeremy Wright, People Director of Burger King UK, expressed enthusiasm about the new branch. “We are excited to announce our first restaurant in Harwich and are committed to creating 23 new job opportunities in the community. We are seeking Assistant Managers who are eager to grow their careers, build relationships, and work in a supportive and inclusive environment.”
Additional crew member positions will be available, though they have not yet been advertised. Both assistant manager positions are full-time and offer an annual salary of £29,500.
