Pizza Hut has launched a new promotion, ‘Pay With Your Trend,’ allowing customers to pay for their My Box meals using TikTok videos instead of cash. This offer aims to encourage user-generated content and attract a younger audience.
The promotion invites TikTok users to create and share trendy videos featuring Pizza Hut’s My Box. To participate, users must upload their content with the hashtag #YourTermsYourConditions. In return, they receive a promo code redeemable for a free My Box via the Pizza Hut app.
Ahmed Sabri, Marketing Lead at Pizza Hut Middle East & Pakistan, explains that the promotion is designed to celebrate customer creativity and enhance engagement with Gen Z. “As one of the first pizza brands in the UAE, it’s crucial for us to connect with our younger audience through their favorite platforms,” Sabri said.
Pizza Hut’s initiative aims to democratize social media content creation, offering rewards beyond the typical reach of celebrities and influencers. “Social media has become a currency, mostly accessible to those with large followings,” Sabri noted. “Our promotion opens this opportunity to everyone, regardless of their social media status.”
