Taco Bell has introduced “The Cantinas,” a unique marketing initiative offering a weekend retreat designed to channel the spirit of early retirement for those who feel young at heart. This concept, developed in collaboration with PR agency Edelman, aligns with the fast-food chain’s “Live Más” philosophy, tailored to resonate with a new generation.
The experience is packed with activities that evoke the leisurely lifestyle associated with retirement. The day begins at 10 a.m. with a Pickleball Dink & Drink session, setting the tone for a relaxed but engaging day. Guests can then enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Post-lunch activities include joining the Cantinas Crochet Club, taking an afternoon nap, or simply lounging by the pool. An early dinner is served before the evening’s main event, a 7 p.m. Bingo BellGrande, offering a lighthearted end to the day.
Other available activities include jewelry making, golf, croquet, and shopping at a vintage market, creating a well-rounded experience for all attendees.
“The Cantinas” will be held in San Diego from August 17 to 18. Tickets are priced at $150 for a weekend package or $50 for single-day access.
Taco Bell Introduces Cantinas Board of Directors
Adding to the event’s charm, Taco Bell has also introduced the Cantinas Board of Directors, who will oversee the weekend’s activities and keep the energy lively.
The Board includes the popular TikTok group “Retirement House,” who will host the Bingo BellGrande. Influencer Joey Zauzig will lead the pickleball tournament, while comedian Terri Joe, also known as Psyiconic, will guide guests through the Walking Club courses.
In a joint statement, the “Retirement House” team expressed their excitement about being part of this initiative, saying, “The six of us are living proof that, like a fine wine, life can get better with age. Retirement is anything but boring—it’s an opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones and play every day.”
