A new Chick-fil-A restaurant has officially opened its doors today at the Bridgepointe Shopping Center in San Mateo, offering a fresh dining option for local residents. The restaurant features seating for 85 diners indoors and 25 more on the patio. Along with their classic menu, Chick-fil-A is introducing a new seasonal treat—the Peach Milkshake.
This opening marks the expansion of Chick-fil-A’s presence in the Bay Area, with nearly 30 locations now serving the region. The San Mateo outlet will cater to customers with both dine-in and takeout options.
The franchise is owned by Reagan Collier, who also operates the Chick-fil-A location on Whipple Avenue near Highway 101 in Redwood City. Across both sites, Collier will manage a team of 100 full- and part-time employees.
In keeping with Chick-fil-A’s commitment to community support, the restaurant will continue the chain’s charitable giving efforts, focusing on donations to nonprofits addressing education, homelessness, and hunger. As part of its tradition, Chick-fil-A has pledged $25,000 to Feeding America for each new restaurant opening, with the funds benefiting the Bay Area.
The San Mateo Chick-fil-A is located at 2210 Bridgepointe Parkway and will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
