McDonald’s space-themed spinoff chain, CosMc’s, continues to grow, following the success of its first location launched in December 2023. The chain, which focuses on beverages and breakfast items, has now opened four additional locations.
On August 8, CosMc’s opened its latest outlet in San Antonio, Texas, marking another milestone in the chain’s expansion.
While customers can already enjoy the full menu, the official grand opening is scheduled for the weekend of August 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time. During the grand opening, visitors will have the chance to sample menu items for free and receive exclusive merchandise, available to the first 100 customers each day.
The San Antonio location is particularly notable as it features CosMc’s first outdoor patio, which includes “eye-catching elements that come alive at dusk,” according to the chain. Customers can place their orders via drive-thru, kiosks, counter service, or through the CosMc’s app.
Texans can also take advantage of the CosMc’s Club, a new loyalty program offering perks like a free welcome drink upon sign-up, a birthday freebie, and points on purchases.

CosMc’s debuted its first location in Bolingbrook, Illinois, in December 2023 as part of a limited test run. The response was overwhelming, with such high customer turnout that the city had to adjust its traffic patterns. Some social media users reported waiting hours to place their orders, while others traveled from distant states, and one customer even flew in from London just to visit.
According to a representative from CosMc’s, the chain plans to continue its expansion with “up to ten” additional locations set to open in the Dallas and San Antonio metro areas in the coming months. The next location, listed as “coming soon” on CosMc’s website, will be at 5341 McPherson Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas.
What’s on The Menu at CosMc’s?
San Antonio customers can look forward to a new drink on the menu: the Sprite Moonsplash. This refreshing beverage combines Sprite with citrus and sweet vanilla flavors, garnished with dried blueberries and a lemon wheel, served over ice.
Other popular drink options include the Popping Pear Slush, Churro Cold Brew Frappé, and Sour Cherry Energy Burst.
Customers can also customize their drinks by adding fruity popping boba or an energy shot.
On the food side, CosMc’s offers treats like Blueberry Lemon Cookies and Savory Hashbrown Bites, as well as signature sandwiches such as the Spicy Queso Sandwich and Creamy Avocado Tomatillo Sandwich.
