KFC is introducing three new Saucy Nugget flavors, launching on August 12. The new flavors—Honey Garlic, Chipotle Ranch, and Mango Habanero—will join the existing favorites, Korean BBQ and Honey BBQ, as announced in a recent press release.
To promote these new sauces, KFC is taking its offerings on a U.S. tour with the KFC Sauce Serve Truck, starting on August 17. The truck will make stops in three cities across the country, where fans can sample the new KFC Nuggets for free, choosing from any of the new flavors or trying them all. In addition, visitors can grab limited-edition merchandise and gift cards, available while supplies last.
The KFC Sauce Serve Truck will kick off its tour at Seaport Square at Pier 17 in New York City on Saturday, August 17, from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST. The truck will then head to Austin, Texas, where it will be stationed at the corner of South Congress and West Monroe St. on Saturday, August 24, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. CST. The final stop will be at 1302 South Main St., Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Saturday, September 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST.
“At KFC, we’re leading the ‘saucy parade’ with even more Saucy Nugget flavors,” said Nick Chavez, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC U.S., in the press release. “Why settle for a saucy nugget from a burger joint when you can enjoy KFC’s 100 percent white meat nuggets, hand-breaded with our Original Recipe and coated in delicious sauce?”
To encourage customers to try the new flavors, KFC is offering several deals:
10 Saucy Nuggets for $5.99, available in restaurants or online.
A free 10-piece Saucy Nugget order with any digital purchase over $10.
A 40-piece Saucy Nuggets Party Pack, exclusively available online, for $19.99.
These offers are designed to let customers experience the new Saucy Nuggets while enjoying the signature taste of KFC’s hand-breaded, white meat chicken.
