McDonald’s has introduced new limited edition items to its menu, including a fresh twist on the classic Quarter Pounder burger.
The new burger, named the Quarter Pounder BBQ Bacon and Crispy Onions, comes with a beef patty, pickles, cheese, bacon, crispy onions, and barbecue sauce. Additionally, the Quarter Pounder Deluxe is making a comeback. This version includes lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, a beef patty, cheese, onions, tangy mustard, tomato sauce, and McChicken sauce.
Mozzarella Sticks with sweet chili sauce are also returning to the menu.
Liz Whitbread, McDonald’s Australia senior brand manager, expressed enthusiasm for the new offerings. “Our winter menu is all about adding a seasonal touch to Macca’s classic flavors. It doesn’t get more iconic than the Quarter Pounder,” she said. “With fresh twists on one of our most loved burgers, featuring exciting new flavor combinations and quality ingredients, we’re warming up Macca’s winter menu and satisfying those cravings this season.”
Customers can enjoy the new items starting Wednesday, August 7, available through drive-thrus, kiosks, front counters, the MyMacca’s app, and McDelivery.
