Great news for fans of Chick-fil-A: the popular fast-food chain is about to open a new location in Newington, New Hampshire.
Chick-fil-A, known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, has nearly 3,000 locations across the U.S. The new restaurant will be situated at 2060 Woodbury Ave, in the former Moko Japanese Steakhouse, which has been vacant since its closure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new Chick-fil-A will feature three drive-thru lanes and will be the chain’s fourth location in New Hampshire. The state already has Chick-fil-A restaurants in Nashua and Salem. As with all Chick-fil-A locations, this one will be closed on Sundays.
The Newington Planning Board has approved the site plan for the 5,000-square-foot restaurant, which will include 94 seats.
The restaurant plans to hire about 25 employees. Although the exact opening date has not been confirmed, the restaurant is expected to open at the end of August.
The new location will also feature a unique service: a drive-thru door where employees will deliver food directly to customers’ cars.
