Hong Kong is buzzing with excitement as McDonald’s announces the debut of McGriddles on its menu. Originally sparked by Tai Hing Cake Shop in Tsuen Wan offering their take on the popular McGriddle, McDonald’s is now set to introduce their own version across the city.
Here’s how you can get your hands on McGriddles in Hong Kong:
When and Where:
McGriddles will be rolled out in two phases. From July 27 to 31, early birds can order through the McDonald’s mobile app starting at 4am.
From August 1 onwards, McGriddles will be available at all McDonald’s locations in Hong Kong (excluding the airport outlets).
Price:
In Hong Kong, McGriddles will be priced at $35 per set meal. Each set includes your choice of McGriddle (original or egg), a beverage, and a crispy hash brown.
What is McGriddles?:
McGriddles are renowned breakfast sandwiches featuring a savory slice of grilled sausage and cheese nestled between two sweet, fluffy hotcakes. Popular in McDonald’s worldwide, they have garnered a cult following in places like the United States, Canada, and particularly Japan, where they have become a sought-after item.
