Wendy’s is aiming to brighten mornings with a new breakfast promotion. Starting now and running through October 31, the fast-food chain is offering its popular Honey Buddy breakfast sandwich for just $1.

Wendy’s announced the deal on Monday, highlighting how it can make Monday mornings a bit more enjoyable. The Honey Buddy, previously known as the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, features a biscuit topped with fried chicken and maple honey butter.

To take advantage of this offer, customers must purchase another item in the same transaction. The $1 sandwich is available once per week per customer and can be redeemed through the Wendy’s app by selecting the “$1 breakfast sandwich with any purchase” deal from the ‘offers’ tab. Alternatively, the deal can be redeemed in-store by scanning the offer in the app.

This promotion comes as fast-food chains struggle with declining customer numbers, partly due to recent price increases. In response, competitors are also offering value deals. McDonald’s has introduced a $5 meal that includes a McChicken or McDouble, four-piece chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink. This deal, initially limited, has been extended through the summer and is aimed at bringing customers back to its restaurants.

Similarly, Burger King launched its $5 Your Way Meal in June, which includes a choice of a Whopper Jr., Bacon Cheeseburger, or Chicken Jr., plus four chicken nuggets, fries, and a soft drink. Starbucks has also joined the trend, offering a coffee and food breakfast combo starting at $5.
