Ottawa’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open on Thursday at Tanger Outlets on Palladium Drive. This new location marks the 15th Chick-fil-A restaurant in Canada.
The fast-food chain announced that the new outlet will provide jobs for approximately 80 to 110 full-time and part-time employees.
The restaurant will welcome customers for dine-in, drive-thru, and pickup services from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. As is customary for Chick-fil-A, the restaurant will be closed on Sundays. The company has stated that closing on Sundays allows team members to rest, spend time with family, and worship if they choose.
To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $34,000 to a local non-profit organization through Second Harvest.
Later this year, a second Chick-fil-A restaurant is expected to open at the Rideau Centre in Ottawa.
