ST. LOUIS — A robbery occurred at the Domino’s on Kingshighway near Delmar Boulevard on Friday night, leaving employees as victims.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a robbery at the restaurant located at 802 North Kingshighway Boulevard around 10 p.m. District 5 officers were dispatched to the scene.
According to police, one employee was outside at the rear of the building when a man approached wearing dark clothing and a white medical-type mask. The man displayed a handgun and forced the employee inside, announcing a robbery.
The suspect demanded access to the safe, but the employee stated she did not have the ability to open it. He then threatened another employee, demanding access again. Unable to open the safe, the suspect then demanded the cash register be opened.
After the employee complied, the suspect took cash from the register and fled the scene. Police did not disclose how many individuals were inside the restaurant during the robbery.
The suspect remains at large. The SLMPD urges anyone with information to contact the District 5 Detective Bureau at 314-444-0001.
