LOS ANGELES, JULY 09, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – FAT Brands Inc., the parent company overseeing Fatburger, Round Table Pizza, and 16 other restaurant concepts, has announced a new venture set to introduce the iconic California-based pizza and burger chains to Utah. In collaboration with franchisee group Blacksheep Hospitality Group, LLC, this development deal aims to establish 12 co-branded Fatburger and Round Table Pizza franchised restaurants in the Beehive State over the next six years, with the first location scheduled to open in 2025.
“Since launching the co-branded concept last year, we have seen significant interest, with over 50 units currently in various stages of development,” said Tayli Wiederhorn, Chief Development Officer of FAT Brands. “The initial success in Texas, where Shelby Jobe and his team pioneered our first co-branded store, gives us confidence in expanding this concept throughout Utah with Blacksheep Hospitality Group, LLC.”
Fatburger, founded over 70 years ago in Los Angeles, has become synonymous with its grilled-to-perfection, made-to-order burgers. The chain prides itself on customizable options, including multiple patties and toppings such as bacon and eggs.
Alongside its renowned burgers, Fatburger offers a menu featuring Fat and Skinny Fries, Turkeyburgers, hand-breaded crispy chicken sandwiches, and hand-scooped milkshakes made from 100% real ice cream.
Round Table Pizza, established in 1959, is celebrated for its commitment to quality and authenticity. Known as “pizza royalty,” the chain prepares each pizza with homemade dough rolled fresh daily and uses premium ingredients like hand-sliced vegetables, high-quality meats, and a signature three-cheese blend. The pizzas are crafted with legendary toppings that extend to the edge of Round Table’s perfectly baked crust.
