The Wendy’s Company has marked a significant milestone with the launch of its 150th store in Kolkata, India.
This new addition expands Wendy’s presence to 31 cities across India, with plans for further expansion in the pipeline.
Anburaj J, General Manager of Wendy’s India at Rebel Foods, expressed excitement about reaching this landmark: “Super excited to announce the opening of our 150th location in India! This milestone reflects our team’s dedication and the trust our customers place in us. Thank you for being a part of our journey. Here’s to many more.”
Rebel Foods acquired Wendy’s in India in February last year, securing exclusive franchise rights for Wendy’s offline operations in the country. Known for their distinctive square hamburger patties, sea salt fries, and Frosty soft ice cream, Wendy’s menu features a range of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and french fries. The American fast-food chain has been rapidly expanding its footprint in India.
“Whether you’re in Amritsar, Raipur, Thirupur, Mysore, Surat, or Nashik, Wendy’s is ready to serve you! We are available in 31 cities across India, with more locations coming soon,” Anburaj J added.
Rebel Foods operates multiple food brands including Faasos, Behrouz Biryani, Ovenstory Pizza, Mandarin Oak, The Good Bowl, and Slay Coffee, utilizing 450 kitchens spread across over 70 cities.
