Jack in the Box, a national fast-food chain with over 2,000 locations across the United States, is set to establish its presence in Georgia with the opening of 15 new restaurants. This announcement marks the first entry of Jack in the Box into the Peach State.
The new restaurants will be strategically positioned in key markets such as Macon, Augusta, and Savannah, as outlined in a recent news release. This move is part of a broader expansion initiative that includes over 30 new locations in Florida, marking Jack in the Box’s debut in the Sunshine State.
Known for its diverse menu featuring items like hamburgers, tacos, chicken tenders, wings, boba shakes, and breakfast offerings, Jack in the Box will cater to customers with dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile order options available 24 hours a day.
Georgia residents have historically lacked easy access to Jack in the Box, with the nearest locations previously in South Carolina and Tennessee. The introduction of these new restaurants aims to fill this gap and meet the demand for the chain’s offerings in Georgia.
“This new franchise commitment represents a significant step forward in our strategic expansion across the Southeastern United States,” said Tim Linderman, Chief Development Officer of Jack in the Box. “We’re excited to bring our craveable 24/7 menu to even more communities. Georgia’s thriving business environment and strong consumer base make it a perfect fit for our continued growth.”
While Georgia has recently seen closures of other national chains like Red Lobster and Hooters, Jack in the Box’s expansion into the state signifies a positive development for the fast-food industry in the region.
