San Diego-based fast-food chain Jack in the Box is expanding into Georgia, marking its first foray into the Peach State. The company announced a deal to open 15 new restaurants throughout the state, a move that reflects their growing presence in the Southeastern United States.
“This new franchise commitment is a big step in our strategy to expand across the Southeast,” said Tim Linderman, Chief Development Officer. “With 15 new commitments in Georgia and over 30 in Florida, we’re excited to bring our menu to even more communities.”
Linderman cited Georgia’s strong economy and customer base as key factors for their decision. The new locations will be strategically placed across the state, focusing on the growing cities of Macon, Augusta, and Savannah.
The company is partnering with an experienced multi-unit franchisee who Linderman believes will be a valuable asset to the brand. The franchisee brings a strong understanding of the local market and a dedication to the Jack in the Box experience, according to Linderman.
The new Georgia restaurants will offer dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile ordering options, and will be open 24 hours a day. Customers can look forward to enjoying Jack in the Box’s iconic menu, featuring favorites like burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, and milkshakes.
