Established in 1984 at Djakarta Theatre, Pizza Hut Indonesia has grown to over 600 restaurants across 36 provinces, showcasing its dedication to providing a delightful dining experience.
To celebrate this milestone, Pizza Hut Indonesia has teamed up with Komik Faktap to offer customers a unique digital experience. Each pizza box now features a QR Code that, when scanned with a smartphone, provides access to a digital comic showcasing Pizza Hut Indonesia’s 40-year journey.
One highlight of this celebration is the introduction of Cheese Overflow, a new culinary creation that promises a unique taste experience. This dish, popular among Indonesian consumers, features abundant cheese that spills over and is enhanced with a touch of a fire torch, adding to its delightful cheese sensation.

As part of the anniversary festivities, Pizza Hut Indonesia invites residents of the Jabodetabek area to join the #LuberkanKebersamaan event, aimed at bringing together generations with unique experiences. The event will feature staff dressed in 80s-inspired uniforms, reminiscent of the first Pizza Hut Indonesia restaurant.
Customers can also enjoy special promotions during this period, such as the Pan Regular Cheese Overflow Pizza for only IDR 40,000 for those dining in on specific days. Additionally, there’s the Duo Hemat promo offering two personal pizza pans, a Cheese Overflow pizza, a selected pizza, and two appetizers for IDR 90,000, valid for a limited time.
To add an interactive element to the dining experience, Pizza Hut Indonesia collaborated with Komik Faktap to create digital comics on pizza boxes, showcasing the company’s 40-year journey. Customers can scan the QR code on the pizza boxes to view these comics on their smartphones.
