Get ready for a taste of Southeast Asia at McDonald’s Japan! The fast-food chain is introducing a new “Asian Sweets” lineup featuring tropical fruit flavors.
This new menu is a departure from McDonald’s Japan’s usual focus on matcha, a popular Japanese green tea. The new “Asian Sweets” line brings a taste of the tropics to Japan, highlighting flavors from Southeast Asia.
Here’s a look at the new offerings:
Salt Lychee McShake: This refreshing milkshake is made with lychee juice and a touch of salt to enhance the sweet and tangy notes of the fruit.
McFlurry Annin Mango: Inspired by annindofu (almond tofu), this McFlurry features almond tofu cream, mango puree, and crunchy almond-flavored corn snacks.
Banana Caramel Pie: This newest addition to McDonald’s pie lineup combines banana puree, creamy caramel, brown sugar, and condensed milk for a decadent treat.
The new “Asian Sweets” menu will be available starting June 5th.
Prices start at 170 yen for the Salt Lychee McShake, 200 yen for the Banana Caramel Pie, and 320 yen for the McFlurry Annin Mango.
