Singaporeans are clearly craving Chick-fil-A. The American fast food chain’s pop-up event at the Esplanade, scheduled for
June 26-28, sold out all 600 available slots in just 90 minutes.
Pre-registration for the event opened at noon on June 3rd. By 1:27 pm, all tickets were gone, according to The Straits Times.
Chick-fil-A took to Instagram to express their gratitude for the “overwhelming support” from local chicken fans. The company is currently exploring the possibility of releasing additional tickets.
Those who secured a spot at the event can look forward to a variety of experiences. They’ll be able to sample a 60-year-old original chicken sandwich recipe and try the chain’s famous waffle-cut potato fries. Attendees can also enjoy “fun activities” and browse Chick-fil-A merchandise.
While the pop-up experience itself is free, each ticket reservation costs S$10. The proceeds will be donated to Community Chest, with Chick-fil-A matching the donations dollar-for-dollar.
