ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Popular Texas-based burger chain Whataburger is set to open its first restaurant in Alpharetta this week. The new site, located on McFarland Parkway, will welcome customers starting at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10.
This will be Whataburger’s 11th location in the metro Atlanta area. The brand, easily recognized by its orange-and-white striped logo and famous ketchup, continues to grow its presence in Georgia. The first metro Atlanta location opened two years ago in Kennesaw.
The new Alpharetta restaurant will feature a double drive-thru, a large indoor dining space, and digital menu boards.
According to company representatives, the interior will also showcase a custom mural that celebrates Georgia, nicknamed the Peach State.
As part of the grand opening celebrations, the first two customers in both the drive-thru and the dining room line will receive free Whataburger for an entire year. Additionally, the next 100 guests will receive free branded merchandise, including Whataburger swag items.
The company has not yet shared the total number of locations it plans to open in Georgia, but with growing demand and steady expansion, more stores may be on the horizon.
