PLAINVIEW, Texas (April 1, 2025) – Chick-fil-A is set to open a new restaurant in Plainview on April 10, 2025, bringing approximately 100 new jobs to the community. The new location, operated by Lee Rutter, will be situated at 4201 Olton Road and will serve customers Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Opening Day Celebration
To mark the occasion, Chick-fil-A Plainview is offering a special giveaway for its opening day. Customers who wear cow-themed attire—whether a full costume or a simple accessory—will receive one free entrée. This promotion pays homage to the chain’s iconic advertising campaign featuring the Chick-fil-A Cows. The free entrée offer is available for both dine-in and drive-thru customers.
Locally Owned and Operated
Lee Rutter, the newly appointed local Owner-Operator, expressed enthusiasm about bringing Chick-fil-A to Plainview.
“It’s an honor to help bring Chick-fil-A to this community,” Rutter said. “I look forward to welcoming our guests and creating meaningful experiences at our restaurant. My goal is to help my team members grow as leaders while also giving back to the local community.”
Rutter previously worked for seven years at a Chick-fil-A location in Lake Travis. Before joining the company, he spent 20 years in ministry before making a career transition.
Commitment to Community
Chick-fil-A Plainview is dedicated to supporting local initiatives and will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program. This initiative donates surplus food to local nonprofits and has contributed to over 35 million meals nationwide.
Additionally, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will commemorate the restaurant’s opening by donating $25,000 to Feeding America. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Lubbock area to assist in hunger relief efforts.
