Wendy’s is about to make a big change to its popular Frosty lineup, and fans couldn’t be more excited. The fast-food chain has announced two new options—Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions—set to hit locations this spring.
Frosty Customization Gets a Boost
With the introduction of Frosty Swirls, customers will now be able to add sauce to either the Classic Chocolate or Vanilla Frosty. Frosty Fusions take it a step further by allowing customers to mix in both sauce and an additional ingredient, giving a fresh twist to the traditional Frosty.
This move promises to offer more variety than ever before, allowing customers to experiment with different flavors and combinations. One example is the Thin Mint Frosty, which is currently available. It features a choice of vanilla or chocolate swirled with a minty cookie crumble sauce inspired by the Girl Scout cookie.
Wendy’s Expansion Plans
Alongside the new Frosty options, Wendy’s is expanding its reach. The chain plans to open 1,000 new restaurants globally by 2028. Additionally, Wendy’s is working on incorporating Artificial Intelligence into its drive-thru operations, a feature set to roll out at nearly 6,000 U.S. locations.
