Starting this month, Starbucks is introducing two new ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages that will be available in grocery and convenience stores: RTD Starbucks® Iced Energy and RTD Starbucks® Frappuccino Lite. These drinks are the result of the North American Coffee Partnership (NACP), a long-time collaboration between Starbucks and PepsiCo, which aims to bring high-quality RTD Starbucks beverages to stores across the U.S.
New Ready-to-Drink Starbucks Iced Energy
The RTD Starbucks® Iced Energy is a refreshing and hydrating energy drink containing 160mg of plant-based caffeine. This beverage provides a revitalizing energy boost while supporting mental clarity. It comes in three exciting flavors and contains just 5 calories and zero grams of sugar.
Tropical Peach: A vibrant tropical flavor that delivers an energizing and delicious experience.
Watermelon Twist: A bold and refreshing watermelon taste, ideal for a revitalizing boost.
Blueberry Lemonade: A sweet combination of blueberries and tart lemonade for a balanced, flavorful drink.
As interest in energy drinks grows, the market is expected to reach $30 billion by 2028. Consumers are also placing greater value on hydration, which is one of the key benefits offered by these new beverages.
“We continuously track consumer trends to ensure our ready-to-drink Starbucks beverages meet demand,” said Jennifer Wong, Vice President of Americas Channel Development at Starbucks. “With the launch of Starbucks Iced Energy and Frappuccino Lite, we’re expanding our product offerings to provide even more options for our customers.”
The Starbucks® Iced Energy drink will be available starting March 24 in grocery stores, national retailers, convenience stores, and gas stations, as well as online. It is priced at $2.99 for a 12 oz can.
