Whataburger has officially opened its 41st restaurant in Alabama, this time in the city of Gadsden.
Located at 300 N. Hood Ave., the new restaurant began operations on Monday, offering 24-hour drive-thru service. The dining room is expected to open in the coming weeks, along with additional service options, such as ordering via the Whataburger app or Whataburger for pickup and delivery.
This Gadsden location marks the 13th Whataburger restaurant for franchisee MWB Restaurants. “We’re excited to bring Whataburger’s bold, fresh flavors to Gadsden,” said Operating Partner Natisha Hoyrd. “We hope the community will make this new location their go-to spot, and we can’t wait to serve them.”
The Texas-based burger chain has been expanding rapidly in Alabama in recent years, with new locations opening in Attalla, Jacksonville, Huntsville, Cullman, Hazel Green, Scottsboro, Albertville, and Athens.
Last year, Whataburger reported a revenue of over $4 billion from its 1,090 locations across 16 states.
