Chick-fil-A is planning to open a new restaurant at the Bar W Marketplace, located near the border of Leander and Georgetown, a company representative confirmed to Community Impact.
The new 5,030-square-foot restaurant, which will feature a drive-thru, is set to be located off Kauffman Loop. The Bar W Marketplace shopping center, which will host the Chick-fil-A, also includes an H-E-B grocery store, according to project information filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Chick-fil-A’s Statement
Chick-fil-A representatives shared that they are in the early stages of the project but are excited to bring a new location to Leander. “We look forward to working through the approval process with the city and beginning construction soon,” the company said in a statement to Community Impact.
The restaurant will offer a variety of menu items, including chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, fries, wraps, and salads.
Breakfast options will include biscuits, burritos, scramble bowls, muffins, and hash browns. For dessert, customers can enjoy milkshakes, ice cream, cookies, and brownies.
Project Timeline
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction for the new restaurant is expected to begin in December 2025, with completion slated for May 2026. The restaurant is anticipated to open sometime in 2026, a Chick-fil-A spokesperson confirmed.
