Cold Stone Creamery, a renowned ice cream brand, is set to open new locations in Lincolnia and Lorton, Fairfax County.
This expansion adds to the eight existing stores in the county, which include locations in Burke, Fair Oaks, Huntington, Hybla Valley, Merrifield, Springfield, and Reston. Another location is also planned for Fairfax City’s Turnpike Shopping Center.
Lincolnia Location
The Lincolnia store will occupy a 1,720-square-foot space in the Pinecrest Plaza shopping center, previously home to a dance studio. A large Cold Stone Creamery sign has been installed, and a “Coming Soon” notice is displayed in the window.
However, the exact opening date remains uncertain. An interior demolition permit was issued on February 25, and a storefront build-out permit is currently under review.
Lorton Location
In Lorton, the new store will be situated at 8170 Silverbrook Road, within a building that recently housed a dentist, spa, masseuse, and a Mexican restaurant. An application for an interior alteration permit was submitted on February 5 and is still pending review. The timeline for this location appears similar to that of Lincolnia.
