In celebration of March Madness, Wendy’s is offering an exciting deal for basketball and burger fans. As the Official Hamburger of March Madness, the fast-food chain is selling its Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers and Double Stack cheeseburgers for just $1. This offer is available now through Sunday, April 13.
To take advantage of the deal, customers need to make an additional purchase and redeem the offer exclusively through the Wendy’s app.
The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger includes a square beef patty, crispy Applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and mayo. Meanwhile, the Double Stack features two fresh beef patties topped with American cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions.
In a statement, Ian Eagle, the lead play-by-play announcer for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, commented, “This year, we’re expecting to see some of the freshest talent in the game give their all for a shot at a National Championship. But if you want my call, Wendy’s is the freshest hamburger in the game — their burgers are made just for you.”
Wendy’s is also offering exclusive deals for customers who use food delivery services through their app. DashPass subscribers can enjoy a free Son of Baconator with any order over $20. Uber Eats customers can grab a BOGO Double Stack Biggie Bag, which includes a sandwich or burger, chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink. GrubHub users can get a free Baconator with any purchase over $20.
These deals come just after Wendy’s recent promotions for National Girl Scout Day and St. Patrick’s Day. On March 12, Wendy’s released a special Frosty inspired by the flavors of Girl Scout Thin Mints Cookies. On March 17, they offered free French fries with any purchase over $5.
While these promotions were limited-time offers, Wendy’s also announced that their Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions will become permanent menu items. Customers will now be able to customize their Frosty with different sauces and mix-ins, available in classic chocolate or vanilla flavors.
