Starbucks unveils color-changing frappuccino in japan for spring, the Haruzora Milk Coffee Frappuccino, or “Spring Sky Milk Coffee Frappuccino.” This unique drink captures the essence of the season, with its vibrant colors and refreshing flavors.
The standout feature of the Frappuccino is a “strawberry ball” hidden inside. When customers use their straw to break the ball, the drink changes color and flavor. What starts as a milky brown coffee transforms into a fruity, pink-hued concoction with a strawberry milk coffee flavor.
Starbucks encourages customers to follow a three-step process to enjoy the full experience of the drink:
Savor the smooth, mild sweetness of the milk coffee.
Use the straw to pop the strawberry ball, releasing a sweet-and-sour strawberry sauce.
Stir the drink, watching it change color to pink, while tasting the new strawberry-flavored milk coffee.
The transformation of the Frappuccino is symbolic of the changes many people in Japan experience at this time of year, with the start of new school years and jobs. To add to the excitement, Starbucks is turning its Shibuya Parco location into a “Spring Sky Ballpark” for 10 days, offering fun activities and photo opportunities to celebrate the new drink.
The Haruzora Milk Coffee Frappuccino will be available at the Shibuya Parco store starting March 10, ahead of its nationwide release on March 12. The drink will be sold in Tall size only, priced at 750 yen for dine-in and 736 yen for takeout. It will be available until April 8.
