March 6 Marks the Arrival of a Spicy Take on a Classic Menu Item.
Burger King is set to spice up its menu with the introduction of the Fiery Big Fish Sandwich, a bold new twist on its original Big Fish. The Miami-based fast-food chain, a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International Inc., announced Tuesday that participating locations will begin offering the sandwich on March 6.
The Fiery Big Fish Sandwich features crispy, panko-breaded Alaskan Pollock, topped with a fiery glaze that adds an extra layer of heat. Complemented by sweet tartar sauce, crisp lettuce, and pickles, the sandwich is served on a toasted brioche bun, enhancing its rich flavor profile.
This latest addition builds on Burger King’s Fiery Menu, which debuted in July 2023 as part of the brand’s strategy to offer premium selections while maintaining value pricing on other menu items. Executives have previously highlighted this balance as a key component of the company’s growth strategy.
In addition to launching the new sandwich, Burger King is rolling out a special promotion for members of its Royal Perks loyalty program. From March 6 through April 20, customers using the BK smartphone app can purchase the original Big Fish sandwich for just $2 when buying another Big Fish at full price. The deal is available at participating locations.
As of December 31, 2023, Burger King operated 7,082 restaurants across the United States. The brand continues to innovate its menu to attract customers seeking both classic and bold new flavors.
