Navarre is set to welcome its second McDonald’s restaurant after Santa Rosa County approved the company’s development proposal.
The new restaurant will be located at 7380 Navarre Parkway, marking a significant expansion for the fast-food chain in the area.
The approval process involved extensive collaboration between McDonald’s and Santa Rosa County’s Planning and Zoning department.
The company initially submitted its proposal last May, but it took nearly a year to finalize due to several site plan reviews.
During this time, county officials requested changes to the signage, landscaping, and other aspects of the proposal, which were subsequently implemented by the developers. The development order was officially issued on February 24.
The new McDonald’s will feature a spacious 3,859 square feet of dining and service area, complemented by 57 parking spots.
To enhance customer convenience, the restaurant will include two drive-thru lanes. Additionally, two access roads will be built, allowing motorists to easily navigate to the nearby Walmart Neighborhood Market or directly onto Navarre Parkway.
Both access roads will connect to Walmart’s parking lot, providing seamless integration with existing retail infrastructure.
This new restaurant will not only increase dining options for residents but also contribute to the local economy by creating jobs and stimulating business activity. With its strategic location and modern amenities, the second McDonald’s in Navarre is poised to become a popular destination for both locals and visitors.
