Burger King is launching a new menu item inspired by customer feedback: the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper. This limited-time sandwich combines classic steakhouse flavors with A.1. sauce, crispy onions, bacon, Swiss cheese, creamy peppercorn aioli, lettuce, and tomato. It will be available starting March 6 at participating restaurants.
The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper is the latest innovation from Burger King’s efforts to engage with customers. Last year, the company hosted the Million Dollar Whopper Contest, which led to the creation of three new Whopper sandwiches based on fan submissions. This new Whopper reflects Burger King’s commitment to listening to its customers and offering customized dining experiences.
“We are excited about the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper because it reflects our customers’ creativity and passion,” said Christy Skylis, Vice President of Brand Marketing and Culinary at Burger King US&C. “We look forward to introducing more customer-inspired menu items in the future.”
In addition to the new Whopper, Burger King is enhancing its combo meals. For the first time, customers can choose from premium side options like Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, or Churro Fries without extra cost, alongside classic French Fries, Onion Rings, and Have-sies. This allows customers to personalize their meals further.
Burger King is also supporting education through its foundation. From March 3 to April 11, customers can round up their orders to support scholarships for students across the U.S. and Canada, building on over $60 million awarded since 2000.
