Golden Chick has opened its second location in Shreveport, Louisiana, enhancing its presence in the region. The new restaurant officially opened on Wednesday, February 19, at 1101 Shreveport Barksdale Highway, just three months after the launch of its first location on Greenwood Road.
Mike Jensen, president of Golden Operating, expressed enthusiasm about the new site. He stated, “Shreveport is a particularly exciting market for our brand given its proximity to the Texas border. The Shreveport community has already embraced the first location, and we can’t wait to bring them our second location.”
Founded in 1967, Golden Chick is known for its quick-service food and commitment to excellent customer service. The restaurant has received accolades from USA Today 10Best for its fried okra, fries, and fried chicken. In 2023, it was also ranked 86th in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 listing.
With this expansion, Golden Chick continues to grow its footprint in Louisiana and aims to provide more delicious options to its customers.
