LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — L8nite Fast Food, a student-run eatery at the University of Kentucky, has officially closed its doors.
The restaurant, located inside the UK Cornerstone building at 401 South Limestone, made the announcement on social media, stating, “This chapter comes to an end. Onto new beginnings.”
Owned by Mohammed Weheba, L8nite Fast Food had become a popular spot for students seeking late-night meals.
Previously, FOX 56 reported on a dispute between Weheba and the university over restaurant signage.
