HENDERSON, Tenn. — Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) has expanded its dining offerings with the grand opening of the Chick-Fil-A and Jones Family Dining Hall on Monday. The new facilities are now open to the public, providing fresh dining options to the Henderson community.
University President David R. Shannon expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to offer not only quality food but also economic benefits through job creation. Over 120 employees are now working across the dining services and Chick-Fil-A locations.
Michele Little, foodservice director for Lion’s Pride Dining Services, shared the excitement, saying, “Our team is thrilled to have this beautiful new facility and to offer students an upgraded dining experience.”
With the grand opening, FHU anticipates large crowds for the rest of the week. The Chick-Fil-A will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
