HENDERSON (KTNV) — Whataburger fans in Las Vegas may soon have another location to visit. City records show that plans are underway for a new Whataburger restaurant in Henderson.
The proposed site, which would feature a double-lane drive-thru, is set to be built near downtown Henderson, along Lake Mead Parkway and Water Street. The area is already home to several commercial properties.
If approved and constructed, this Whataburger would be the third in Nevada. The fast-food chain made its return to Las Vegas last year with the opening of a location on the Las Vegas Strip, next to the Waldorf Astoria. A second location in east Las Vegas followed shortly after.
Whataburger’s expansion in Nevada is a welcomed addition for local fans eager for more locations.
