Starbucks Japan is celebrating the arrival of cherry blossom season with a special lineup of sakura-inspired drinks and food, exclusively available at their Reserve Roastery Tokyo. Located along the picturesque Meguro River, one of Tokyo’s prime spots for cherry blossom viewing, the roastery offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the sakura while sipping on seasonal treats.
Among the highlights of this year’s offerings is the Sakura Cream Latte (1,050 yen for dine-in, 1,031 yen for takeout), which combines red bean paste and cinnamon to create a delicate sweetness reminiscent of cherry blossom petals. Served hot or iced and made with soy milk, the latte offers a taste of spring with its harmonious blend of flavors that evoke the scent of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
Another new drink is the Peach Tranquility Iced Tea (available at the Main Bar), made with Teavana’s Peach Tranquility iced tea and flavored with notes of chamomile, pineapple, white peach, plum jam, and salted cherry blossoms. Stirring the drink brings out the sweet-salty flavor of cherry blossoms, providing a refreshing taste of spring.
For those seeking a festive option, Starbucks has also introduced a Sakura Allure Cocktail, featuring Teavana’s Sakura Allure tea, amazake, and sparkling sake, along with a cherry blossom sweet skewer. This Japanese-inspired cocktail is perfect for celebrating spring occasions like graduations and company inductions.
The special seasonal treats, including baked goods, will be available from February 15 through April 11, while the Loafcake will be available until May 9. Customers can also find these treats at select Princi locations around Tokyo, including Daikanyama T-Site, Ginza Maronier Street, Marunouchi Oazo Newman Yokohama, Tamagawa Takashimaya S・C, and Azabudai Hills.
Whether you’re looking to enjoy a cherry blossom picnic or simply indulge in a sakura-inspired treat, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo offers the perfect setting to savor the flavors of spring.
