Whataburger, a Texas-based burger chain, has submitted plans for a possible second location in Fayetteville4. The application, submitted to the city’s Technical Review Committee, is for a 3,305-square-foot restaurant at 7547 S. Raeford Road, near Gillis Hill Road.
This marks the second potential Whataburger site under review in Fayetteville4. In January 2024, the company submitted plans for a similar-sized restaurant at 3900 Ramsey St. as part of a $40 million commercial development.

Despite these plans, Whataburger has not yet confirmed its expansion into Fayetteville or announced any opening dates.
