A new kosher fast-food restaurant, Dave’s Crunch House, has opened its doors in Houston, adding to the city’s diverse dining scene. Located at 5711 Bissonet in Bellaire, the diner offers a menu filled with American fast-food favorites made from fresh ingredients.
Dave’s Crunch House specializes in crispy textures and juicy meats, featuring a variety of dishes that include Southern-style chicken options. The extensive menu highlights items such as the Chili Burger, a four-ounce smash burger topped with beef chili, Dave’s Secret Sauce, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and crispy onions. Another standout is the Loaded Dog, a Romanian hot dog served with BBQ pulled beef, pickles, and coleslaw.
Sandwich lovers can enjoy the Southern Fried Chicken sandwich, which comes with coleslaw, dill pickles, maple aioli, and creamy ranch dressing. Additionally, the Chicken Caesar sandwich features grilled chicken along with lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado, and Caesar dressing. For those who prefer customization, customers can build their own burgers, sandwiches, or salads by selecting various proteins and toppings.
In addition to food offerings, Dave’s Crunch House boasts a rotating selection of domestic, imported, and craft beers on tap.
The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is certified kosher by both the Houston Kashruth Association and Mehadrin Kashrus of Texas, ensuring adherence to high standards of kosher supervision.
