City Approves Plans for New Chick-fil-A Location in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) — Developers have received approval to build a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Springfield.

The planned site will be located at 3801 West University Street, near the intersection of Sunshine and West Bypass, directly across from Menards.

While the city has approved the necessary permits, developers have not yet provided a timeline for construction.

Once completed, the new location will become the fourth standalone Chick-fil-A in Springfield. The fast-food chain also operates smaller outlets at Missouri State University and the Battlefield Mall.
