Whataburger has named Empower Media as its new media agency, entrusting the firm with overseeing its media strategy, planning, and procurement efforts.
The appointment marks a key move for Whataburger as the company seeks to enhance its brand loyalty among current customers while expanding its reach to new audiences.
Empower Media’s executive officer, Ashlee Clarke, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Whataburger is an innovative, bold, and authentic brand. Having grown up with Whataburger, I’m excited to create impactful campaigns that will help the brand grow and reach more consumers.”
Alexandr Ivannikov, Whataburger’s Chief Administrative Officer, praised Empower’s ability to connect with audiences, adding, “Empower excels at engaging consumers and enhancing communication across all channels. Their expertise in marketing is impressive.”
Founded in 1950, Whataburger is known for its classic American fast food, including burgers and fries. Headquartered in San Antonio, the company generates annual revenue of approximately $4 billion and operates over 1,000 locations. The brand also has plans for further expansion in the coming year.
