McDonald’s Singapore is celebrating the Lunar New Year 2025 with a special collaboration with Sanrio, offering exclusive merchandise and limited-edition food items. This year marks the return of the popular Prosperity Meal, alongside exciting Sanrio-themed collectibles featuring beloved characters My Melody and Cinnamoroll.
Every year, McDonald’s Singapore serves the Prosperity Burger and Prosperity Twister Fries, which are available only during the Lunar New Year season. For 2025, the menu has been updated with the new Fortune Prosperity Burger, available with a choice of beef or chicken, and topped with an over-easy egg. Customers can also enjoy a new strawberry ice cream flavor alongside the returning Prosperity meal items.
In addition to the festive food offerings, McDonald’s is introducing an array of limited-edition Sanrio merchandise to join the celebrations. The exclusive products will be available through both gift-with-purchase and add-on purchase options, allowing fans to collect Sanrio-themed items while enjoying their meals.
Sanrio Red Packets (Available from 2 January, 11am)
The festivities kick off with the release of My Melody and Cinnamoroll-themed red packets. These colorful envelopes feature lucky messages and cute designs showcasing McDonald’s signature items like the Big Mac, French Fries, and McFlurry.
Customers can receive a free set of six red packets with the purchase of a Prosperity Feast Meal, while stocks last. Each Prosperity Feast includes a Prosperity Burger, Twister Fries, a small drink, and a Pineapple Pie.
Sanrio Snap Card Game (Available from 16 January, 11am)
For a fun family activity this Lunar New Year, McDonald’s is offering a limited-edition Snap Card Game featuring My Melody and Cinnamoroll. The game, which will bring a nostalgic twist to the celebrations, invites players to match cards for a win.
A free box of Snap Cards will be given with the purchase of any Value Meal, Upsized Value Meal, Feast, 2x Value Meal, or Family Meal, while supplies last.
Sanrio Cushions (Available from 3 and 10 February, 11am)
For a cozy addition to the celebrations, McDonald’s is offering My Melody and Cinnamoroll character cushions. These plush, head-shaped pillows feature My Melody in her rabbit headgear and Cinnamoroll in his bear headgear.
Each cushion is priced at S$13.90 and can be purchased with any Value Meal, Upsized Value Meal, Feast, 2x Value Meal, or Family Meal. Limited to one cushion per transaction, the My Melody cushion will be available from 10 February, while the Cinnamoroll cushion will be available from 3 February.
Fans of both McDonald’s and Sanrio can expect a festive and fun-filled Lunar New Year celebration, with unique offerings and adorable merchandise to enjoy while stocks last.
