Chick-fil-A is set to open its new restaurant on Ladson Road this week, welcoming customers starting Thursday, January 9, at 6 a.m. The location is situated near the intersection of Ladson Road and Palmetto Commerce Parkway, where construction began last summer.
This new restaurant, famous for its original fried chicken sandwiches, will create approximately 150 job opportunities for both full-time and part-time workers in the area.
To celebrate its grand opening, Chick-fil-A will honor 100 local heroes who have made a positive impact in the Ladson community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year. Additionally, the company has committed $25,000 to Feeding America, which will be distributed to local partners working to combat hunger in the Charleston region.
Chick-fil-A will also participate in the “Chick-fil-A Shared Table” program. This initiative allows the restaurant to donate surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and other nonprofits in need.
Daniel Dickerson will serve as the owner-operator of the new location.
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, he currently manages the Chick-fil-A on Dorchester Road and will continue in that role. “I’m honored to have the chance to serve as the local Owner-Operator of another restaurant in the community where I grew up,” Dickerson said.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to connect with guests and team members here for more than 20 years, and I’m looking forward to creating those same connections at Chick-fil-A Ladson Road.”
This new restaurant adds to the more than 25 Chick-fil-A locations already operating in the Charleston Metro area. It will offer various services including dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, and mobile ordering.
