Taco Bell is set to kick off the new year with exciting menu additions, including a new version of its popular Nacho Fries and a refreshing take on its signature Baja Blast. Starting January 16, customers can enjoy the Steak Garlic Nacho Fries and Baja Dream Freezes.
The Steak Garlic Nacho Fries are seasoned with Mexican spices and topped with marinated grilled steak, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and a creamy garlic ranch sauce made with garlic and jalapeño peppers.
These loaded fries will be priced at $4.99.
In addition to the fries, Taco Bell is introducing the Baja Dream Freezes, which blend the classic Baja Blast frozen slushy with vanilla crème. These drinks will be available in two flavors: Baja Dream and Strawberry Baja Dream, inspired by the growing trend of “dirty soda.”
The freezes will be offered at $3.69 for a 16-ounce size and $3.89 for a 20-ounce size.
Nacho Fries first debuted in 2018 and quickly became Taco Bell’s most successful product launch. They now account for one in four orders at the chain, leading to various limited-time offerings over the years, including Loaded Truff Nacho Fries and Rattlesnake Fries.
The Baja Blast drink was originally launched in partnership with Mountain Dew 21 years ago and has seen several variations since then. In 2023, Taco Bell even introduced a Hard Baja Blast with alcohol at select retailers. The latest offerings tap into the rising popularity of dirty soda, which saw a 609% increase in searches last year.
As Taco Bell continues to innovate its menu, these new items are expected to attract both loyal fans and new customers looking for unique flavors as they enter 2025.
