McDonald’s is shaking up the start of the week with its new “Deal Drop” initiative, offering customers three exciting deals every Monday through the McDonald’s app. The promotion is designed to lift the post-holiday slump and make Mondays something to look forward to throughout the year.
Kicking off with a special launch period from December 30th to January 26th, Deal Drop gives app users access to new deals each week, available in the app’s “Rewards & Offers” section. Customers can redeem these deals at any time during the week.
The three weekly offers include discounts across the entire McDonald’s menu, with two deals offering percentage savings or money off, and the third featuring a unique discount on a fan-favorite menu item.
The launch of Deal Drop has already gained buzz, with celebrities like TV star Lydia Bright, former footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa, and TikTok influencer Cole Anderson-James sharing their excitement on social media. These famous faces teased their followers with hints about the upcoming deals before revealing the full details of McDonald’s latest value offering.
The best part? Deal Drop is not a one-time event. McDonald’s plans to continue offering these weekly deals through 2025, with new offers available every Monday. From February onwards, the deals will be redeemable for one day only, ensuring that app users can kick off each week with unbeatable savings.
Kat Howcroft, McDonald’s Digital and Media Director, explained, “McDonald’s is the home of value, and we wanted to start the new year by giving back to our customers. Deal Drop is a way to offer even more savings on our customers’ favorite menu items, especially when many are feeling the financial pinch after the holidays.”
With Deal Drop, McDonald’s is aiming to make Mondays the best day of the week for customers, offering them great value and convenience with every app purchase.
